30 years and still a dedicated and enthusiastic Mason!
Brethren of Mojacar Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No. 1877 enjoyed their Installation meeting on Monday 11th September where W. Bro. David Shaftoe was installed as the Commander for the ensuing year.
After the Installation Ceremony, in a special extra item, W.Bro. Geoff Harris was presented with a certificate to mark over 30 years as a Mariner by W. Bro Eddy Bamford RAMGR on behalf of the District Grand Master.
W. Bro Geoff Harris was Elevated into RAM at the Matthew Clarke Lodge on the 20th February 1985. Member of the Lodge stated “W.Bro. Geoff has always been, and continues as such, a very dedicated and enthusiastic Mason, in fact he was invested as Senior Warden on the same night and is looking forward to taking the chair once again next year.He is also the current Master of the Mojacar Mark Lodge and later this month, will be Invested as the Master of the Almanzora 139 Craft Lodge!”
After the meeting the Brethren joined with their Mark Brothers and enjoyed a very fraternal and delicious meal at a local restaurant.

Los hermanos de la Logia de Nautas del Arca Real Mojácar Nº 1877 disfrutaron de su Tenida de Instalación el lunes 11 de septiembre, en la que el V. H. David Shaftoe fue instalado como Comandante para el año en curso.
Después de la Ceremonia de Instalación, tuvo lugar un acto muy especial, en que el V. H. Geoff Harris recibió un certificado conmemorativo de sus más de 30 años como Nauta, de manos del V. H. Eddy Bamford, RAMGR, en nombre del Gran Maestro del Distrito.
El V. H. Geoff Harris fue elevado a Nauta del Arca Real en la Logia Matthew Clarke el 20 de febrero de 1985. Un miembro de la Logia declaró: “El V. H. Geoff siempre ha sido, y continúa siéndolo, un masón muy dedicado y entusiasta”; de hecho, fue investido como Primer Vigilante esa misma noche y espera volver a ocupar la presidencia el próximo año. También es el actual Venerable Maestro de la Logia de Marca Mojácar y, a finales de este mes, ¡será investido como Venerable Maestro de la R. L. S. Almanzora 139!
Tras la reunión, los Hermanos se reunieron con sus Hermanos de Marca y disfrutaron de una comida deliciosa y muy fraternal en un restaurante local.
