Temple Builders Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.1869
Temple Builders Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.1869 is the Working Lodge of the District Grand Master of the District of Spain. This alone sets it apart, marking it as a Lodge of high distinction within the District. Once a regular working Lodge, it has been repurposed to serve as a Lodge of Installed Masters, bringing together brethren whose dedication to the Mark Degree and service to the District have been recognised at the highest level.
Purpose
Temple Builders exists to strengthen and support the Mark across our District. Like the keystone that binds and upholds the arch, its role is to provide stability and unity. Its members are called to assist Lodges with their ceremonies, to offer guidance where it is needed, and to give their support to any project entrusted to them by the District Grand Master.
Membership
Membership is by invitation only, extended by the District Grand Master himself. To receive such an invitation is both an honour and a responsibility. It acknowledges excellence in ritual, devotion to the Order, and a willingness to place those gifts at the service of the District as a whole.
A Lodge for the District
The Installation meeting is held in Ciudad Quesada, while all other meetings are held throughout the District of Spain. This nomadic character ensures that Temple Builders remains a visible and active presence wherever it is needed most. Alongside its formal work, the Lodge also promotes growth of the Order through fellowship, with informal social gatherings that bring brethren together and strengthen the bonds of the Mark family.
An Honour and a Duty
Temple Builders is not a Lodge for self, but a Lodge of service. Its members are entrusted with upholding the dignity of the Mark and supporting the work of Lodges across the District. Above all, it stands as a living reminder of the central lesson of the Mark Degree: that the true strength of the builder lies not in personal acclaim, but in unity, service, and the work we accomplish together.
